Celebrating our 55th Season!
About us
Our story began in 1970 as Karen Horton School of Dance.
We believe dance is for every body. From young children taking their first steps to adults returning to something they’ve missed, our studio is a place to grow, to belong, and to celebrate movement at every stage of life.
For over 55 years, dancers have walked through our doors and found more than just classes—they’ve found community, confidence, and a love of dance that stays with them.
Why We Dance
Dance connects us, challenges us, and reminds us how good it feels to move.
Honoring the Roots
We respect the history of dance and the artists who shaped it, keeping their influence alive in the way we move today.
Celebrating Each Other
From first steps to big moments, we celebrate progress and create a culture where dancers feel seen, supported, and encouraged. Our dancers truly lift each other up.
Growing Through the Process
We celebrate every step forward and teach dancers that corrections are part of learning. Over time, they build awareness and confidence—skills that carry far beyond the dance studio.
Dance is for Everybody
We welcome dancers of all ages, backgrounds, and experience levels. There’s a place for you here.
Joyful Movement
Dance should feel good. We focus on the joy of moving, not just getting it “right.”
High Standards, Light Spirits
We care about doing things well and growing as dancers—while keeping the environment encouraging, welcoming, and fun.
